Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Ufuk desktop application and related services ("the Service"), operated by Ufuk Agent System. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

The Service

Ufuk is a desktop AI coding agent. It provides AI-assisted editing, planning and debugging features powered by third-party AI models. AI output can be wrong; you are responsible for reviewing any code or content the agent produces before relying on it.

Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to use the Service.

Plans, credits and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and include a monthly credit pool.
• Credits are consumed as you use AI features and do not roll over between months.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Payments are processed by our merchant of record, which is the seller of record for billing and tax purposes.
• Prices may change with notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• break the law, infringe others' rights, or generate malicious software;
• attempt to bypass quotas, rate limits or security measures;
• resell or redistribute the Service without permission;
• interfere with the Service or other users' enjoyment of it.

Your content

You keep ownership of the code and content you work with. You grant us only the licence needed to process that content in order to provide the Service (for example, forwarding a prompt to an AI model to produce a response).

Intellectual property

The Service and its branding belong to us. Ufuk is built on the open-source VS Code platform, which remains subject to its own licence.

Availability and warranties

The Service is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the extent permitted by law.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or create risk for the Service or other users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
